Sugar Cookies

Philadelphia Sugar Cookie (Kraft recipe)

1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
1 cup butter, softened
2/3 sugar (I use 1 cup)
1/4 tsp vanilla (I used 1 tsp pure vanilla)
2 1/2 cups flour
Pinch of salt

Refrigerate for a couple of hours, though best if over night.

Cut out, and decorate (colored sugar). Bake 350 until lightly brown.

These have a great taste. I have found if you want to bake that day, then you might plan on just making round cookies as when they bake, they puff up and do not keep their shape. These cookies come out soft but crispy at the same time. Perfect!

My kids & I made these cookies the night before last and they were so yummy! A big hit for sure in our house! Thank you so much for this recipe.
